This was the last stop before driving on to Hermanus, after 5 days of traveling over 2000km with 3 large dogs. The place was absolutely amazing and had we known how wonderful it was we would definitely have stayed longer. The house incredibly comfortable and I really appreciated the openness. There was ample space for the dogs to run, and the small pool was incredibly refreshing. The art works were stunning, and aside from the odd fear that my dogs might nibble on a sculpture, it was a truly fantastic experience. Next time I would definitely stay longer. The host was also unbelievable welcoming and really made an effort to make sure we enjoyed our stay.

We loved everything about this property! Huge yard with a veggie garden they let you use! The splash pool was heated and being able to sit in it during sunset was unmatched with the birds chirping in the background! The open windows to the mountains on both sides was unbelievable!! There’s no tv however the games they provided with the speaker made us for everything!

Stil is next-level. This place is just lekker. From the location and architecture to the sculptures and attention to detail—everything feels carefully thought out and beautifully done. You can tell no corners were cut. Photos don’t come close, so take my word for it: just book it. We’ll definitely be back. Solid 10/10!

Set on a sprawling river front stand, the tranquil setting along the river is spectacular. The space is beautiful with many thoughtful touches. I enjoy relaxing on the couch, admiring the mountains and paging through their selection of travel books.

In a class of its own - it’s seldom that such a place is available, that’s because it’s the exception to the rule!

A place to unwind and being surrounded to so much style, perfection and comfort!! A place built with love and also food by Joseph made from love. What a luxury to eat-in with so much yummy food! Thank you for this slow experience 

I had a wonderful time here. It is such a beautiful place with style. I love the art around the house and just being at ease in a private space like this. I will be back with my partner.
